What happens to my data if I leave?+–
You take it with you. On a one-time build it is already on your server and we were never holding it. On a subscription we export your records and your files and hand them over. We do not hold on to your records to make leaving difficult.
Can I migrate from the CRM I use now?+–
Usually. We look at what you are on during the scoping call. If it can be exported, we bring across contacts, enquiries, listings and the history attached to them. If it cannot be exported, we will tell you that on the call rather than after you have paid.
Who owns the code?+–
On a one-time build, you do. It is handed over and you may change it, or have anyone else change it, without asking us. On a subscription the platform stays ours — that is what makes it possible to keep improving it for everybody at once. Your data is yours either way.
What does maintenance actually cover?+–
On a one-time build it is optional and runs $50–100 a month. It covers keeping the thing running: updates, security patches, and fixing what we built when it breaks. It is not new development — new features are scoped and quoted like any other work.
How long does a build take?+–
That comes out of the scoping call, because it depends entirely on what is in scope. We would rather give you a date we can meet once we know what we are building than a number now that means nothing.
Can I subscribe now and buy it outright later?+–
Yes, as a custom build priced at the time. Be clear about what that is: it is a new engagement, not an upgrade. What you have paid in subscription does not come off the price, and what you would own is the version built for you then, not the platform.
I already advertise on the portals. Does this replace that?+–
No. Housing Market Ads puts your listings in front of people on the portals. This is the CRM and the website you run your own side of the business on. They sit next to each other.
